Parenting is hard work.
If you’re a parent, we want to come along side you and help you and your children – your whole family – grow closer to one another and to God. Discovery Church believes that children are an invaluable part of our community. The goal of all who interact with these precious ones at Discovery is to make the love and knowledge of Christ a reality in the lives of His children.
We provide a nursery for those under 5 and a Children’s Ministry for kids 5-12. The nursery is more than a sitting service and has songs and activities to help lead kids closer to Christ, while the Children’s Ministry teaches your children the same Bible truths and big ideas that the parents get in “big church.” That way everybody can talk about what they learned today. Children will stay with their parents for the praise and worship music and are then dismissed to their very own, totally cool kid’s program.
During the time that children spend in the care of Discovery Church, they will be nurtured in love while encouraged to learn and grow in their knowledge of God. We want to guide children to a greater understanding of Jesus Christ and encourage them to develop an intimate relationship with Him.
