Parenting is hard work.
If you’re a parent, we want to come along side you and help you and your children – your whole family – grow closer to one another and to God. Discovery Church believes that children are an invaluable part of our community. The goal of all who interact with these precious ones at Discovery is to make the love and knowledge of Christ a reality in the lives of His children.
We provide a nursery and pre-school for those under 5 and a Children’s Ministry for kids 5-12. The nursery and pre-school are more than a sitting service and has songs and activities to help lead kids closer to Christ, while the Children’s Ministry (the R.O.C.K.) teaches your children the same Bible truths and big ideas that the parents get in “big church.” That way everybody can talk about what they learned today. The Children have their own worship music and weekly puppets. We bring the message alive with plenty of visuals and hands on object lessons.
During the time that children spend in the care of Discovery Church, they will be nurtured in love while encouraged to learn and grow in their knowledge of God. We want to guide children to a greater understanding of Jesus Christ and encourage them to develop an intimate relationship with Him.
