Current Message Series

We are continuing our message series entitled 'Way To Go' looking at various people who have struggled to 'get it right' but the Bible still tells their story and ultimately, God tells them 'Way To Go'

August 2017 Events

Way To Go Games Round 2 - Sunday, Aug 13th

After 4 hard fought rounds of competition, we crowned our round one WTG Games winners - Michael and Samantha Poe. Will anyone be able to dethrone them? Plan on sticking around after church again for some lunch and games.

Way To Go Games FINALE - Sunday, Aug 27th

This summer we've taken a few breaks and had some fun. This will be the best time yet as ECU is back to school and Pitt County public schools start the very next day. So join us after church for our summer finale and head over to Cable Paradise Park in Ayden. There's a beach where everyone can swim and hang out and some of the more adventurous and competitive folks will test their skills wake boarding. YOU'LL NEED A SIGNED WAIVER FORM (which you can pick up at church) Click the photo for a link a video story WITN recently did

Serve Our Community

On the 3rd Saturday of every month, Third Street Education Center intentionally invests in the surrounding neighborhood. There's something for everyone so it's perfect for families that want to serve together. Runs from 8:30-12:30. It's a great way to serve our community! Watermelon Festival - August 24-26

We encourage you all to be a part of the community and interact with them as well. Go alone or go with a group, but make an effort to carry the light of Jesus wherever you are...through simple acts of kindness, meeting practical needs or starting conversations that might lead to an opportunity to share the Gospel. Feel free to take in the rides and try some of the food while you're there!

Attention Discovery Men!

Face it guys, marriage is hard! Finding a wife, understanding her and then communicating with her aren't easy. We can learn a lot from each other which is why men need other men around us. So whether you're single, engaged or have been married for 50 years, if at all possible, plan on joining other men, every other Monday morning at 6AM. We meet at 606 Country Club Drive in Greenville. Set your alarm and click the image to purchase your copy of the participant's guide.

Keep Counting W.I.N.S.

Value Spotlight

GROWTH & CHANGE
There’s definitely been a lot of change at Discovery so far this year and now we’re starting to see some growth again.  Honestly, we should always expect to see both.  It’s one of our values.

All living things grow and change.  We will be a people who are continually growing and developing in ways that produce positive change that is noticeable to us and others.”
